Representative’s Authority: What Can Be Signed
Personal presence during real estate purchase or sale in Northern Cyprus is not always mandatory. If you are outside the island or cannot attend every stage of the transaction, the law allows you to grant signing rights to an official representative. This saves time and travel costs.
A properly executed Power of Attorney grants us the authority to act on your behalf. The main operations we perform remotely include:

How to Prepare a Power of Attorney (Legalization)
The procedure depends on your location. There are three legitimate ways:
- In Northern Cyprus: The Power of Attorney is drafted and notarized locally in the presence of a lawyer. This is the fastest option if you are on the island even for one day.
- Abroad: The document is prepared in your country of residence. To recognize its legal force in Northern Cyprus, a legalization procedure is required (apostille or certification at the TRNC/Turkey representation).
- Turkish Embassies and Consulates: Since the TRNC is officially recognized only by Turkey, diplomatic missions of the Republic of Turkey worldwide are authorized to certify documents for use in Northern Cyprus.
